When asked when Tollena started sewing, she said, “Weeh shukjeh” which means a long time ago. “My mother taught how to sew as a child.” Her mother passed away April 1967. She was 26 years old when her mom passed away. She is 81 years old. Tollena has made many pairs of moccasins and mitts that she has sold in our store.
